  • Cold Calling (it still works!)
  • Network with industry professionals to create new leads
  • Build the company brand through effective social media
  • Identify, contact and cultivate new sales opportunities
  • Book client appointments
  • Coordinate product demonstrations
  • Present solutions and proposals
  • Interact with sales engineers before and after the sale
  • Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner
  • Update customer information in our CRM system
  • Develop relationships with complimentary vendors
  • Work with service/operations/accounting departments to ensure all necessary information such as job packages are accurately and timely available for installation and billing forecasting
  • Participate in new product training


  • Ethical
  • 3+ Years information technology related sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Stable & verifiable job history
  • Track record of documented sales success
  • Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales and account management experience
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong "hunter" mentality with excellent prospecting skills
  • Strong people skills to deal with prospects, customers and other company employees
  • Able to make high level sales presentations to “C” level buyers
  • Very strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Professional attitude and leadership
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a conscientious attention to detail
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task, high volume environment
  • Consistent achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets and margin quota through development and closing of new business
  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan, using a consultative sales strategy to effectively communicate Comm3’s value proposition to prospective enterprise accounts
  • Build and articulate a technology vision for an enterprise incorporating return on investment (ROI) and total cost of ownership (TCO) models
  • Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • VoIP, Video Conferencing, WiFi, LAN, WAN, MPLS, Network Services, ShoreTel, Mitel, CISCO, AVAYA experience a plus
