ShoreGear-220T1A

The ShoreGear 220T1A provides high density trunking combined with IP user support within the same chassis. The ShoreGear 220T1A is designed for large offices supporting IP telephones combined with digital trunks using T1 or PRI signaling. It uses a small 1U half width chassis and so is ideal for sites requiring high IP user density combined with digital trunking where rack space is valued at a premium.

The ShoreGear 220T1A supports a maximum of 220 IP phones but can also support a combination of 70 IP phones, 2 loop start trunks, 4 analog extension ports and a T1 all at the same time. The ShoreGear 220T1A communicates with IP phones, soft phones and other IP endpoints using the Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).
