• Troy L. Cryer

    Troy got his start in the telephony industry in 1980, when his grandfather retired from SBC and they founded the family interconnect business, located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 1992, at the age of 24, Troy co-founded Telesystems, Inc., an Arlington-based telecommunications company. Their specialties included contact centers, manufacturing, auto-dealerships and municipalities.  Within four years, Telesystems was recognized as a market leader for Inter-Tel products.  Their support quickly grew to Statewide coverage as customers learned of their expertise and focus on client satisfaction.

    In 1998, Inter-Tel Technologies acquired Telesystems and Troy began his corporate management journey. His experience includes roles as Sales Manager, General Manager, and Regional Vice President.

    In 2005, Troy joined forces with David Blum of TL Communications to form Comm3. With more than 30 years of communications experience, Troy helps bring great value to Comm3 clients through his results-based processes.

    Troy knows there is no room for mediocrity, as proven by the company’s remarkable client satisfaction scores.

    Troy has been married to his wife Kim for over 21 years and they have a son Nate who keeps them very active following his activities in school.  Together, they enjoy restoring vintage cars & trucks, boating, snow skiing, golf, sporting clays and vacation travels.

    President and General Manager

    After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation/Electronics, David was accepted into The U.S. Army Warrant Officer program, where he became an accomplished officer and helicopter pilot. His diverse background has included executive positions with Fortune 500 companies Texas Instruments and Boeing. He has held management roles in engineering, sales and senior management at Avnet, Inc., the world largest marketer of electronic components, supply chain solutions, consultative engineering support and focused product specialization. These accomplishments and his thorough understanding and grasp of customer service and satisfaction have enabled David to successfully manage numerous business ventures.

    In 1999, David purchased TL Communications and began his telephony journey. David recognized the market’s need for advanced applications and quickly added TOSHIBA and OAISYS solutions to the product line. Soon after, TL Communications was recognized as the go-to resource when the client needed more than “just a phone system”.  Joining forces with Troy in 2005, David has continued to focus on innovative service solutions that push boundaries and deliver results, while offering a personalized customer experience that is unmatched.
